Podcasting

For now, please refer to the NJLA IT Section part of the NJLA website.... more info coming!

Also you can check here.

IT SECTION WILL HAVE Contests and Promotions AT THE BOOTH WED. AND THURS.!

The NJLA IT Section invites all section leaders to record podcasts ("shout-outs," "advertisements," etc.,) about their programs for the conference. Generate a little extra interest in your speakers and programs by sharing some info before the conference! You can record a podcast (see the NJLA IT Section page for how-to) and upload it or send it to us.

Also, you are invited to please make appointments to come by the Podcasting Booth during the conference with your speaker and interview them. Section leaders need to prepare some questions in advance and conduct the interview - we will record it at the booth in the hallway and upload them! If an interview with your speaker is not possible - come by anyway and record a podcast about your program or section or anything else!

AND, there's more! We will also be conducting a contest! Come to the podcasting booth and every recording you make counts as an entry into the contest! Contests and Promotions from the drawing! We will be providing questions/topics you can speak on - hopefully they will get us all thinking about the future of librarianship in NJ!

Don't forget our great Podcasting Programs at the conference - the Preconference on Practical Podcasting with David W. Free on Tuesday, and our PODCASTING PANEL: "We're Down With OPP - Other People's Podcasts," with Janie Hermann of Princeton Public Library, David W. Free, and other NJ Librarians who have been using podcasts in their libraries successfully already!
